Jersey Electricity Plc, a vertically integrated utility on the Island of Jersey, faced the challenge of low customer engagement with its digital tools. Jersey Electricity implemented a mobile and web app, called MyJE, built on the Eliq platform. The app provided customers with personalized energy insights, usage tracking, and alerts. This solution led to a 7.5x increase in digital tool uptake, reaching 34% of customers within nine months. Users engaged with the app 10x more than the utility industry average, significantly boosting customer satisfaction and establishing a key communication channel for the future.
