Innlandskraft reduces energy consumption by 6.8% with Eliq

Innlandskraft, a Norwegian utility company, partnered with the vendor Eliq for a national programme to explore the benefits of smart meter data. Their challenge was to help over 1,000 customers understand and reduce their electricity consumption over a multi-year period.

Eliq provided its White Label platform to deliver a mobile and web app that gave customers insights into their usage, forecasts, and alerts. The solution resulted in a proven, sustained reduction in energy consumption. Customers who used the Eliq app achieved an average consumption reduction of 6.8%, with 71% of all users successfully lowering their usage.
