Office of the Prime Minister, Uganda - Customer Case Study

Impiger Technologies partnered with the Office of the Prime Minister (Uganda) in 2019 to design and implement the DRDIP MIS suite and a biometric attendance and payment system. The project addressed the operational challenge of managing and digitizing end-to-end processes for a large displaced population across 11 target districts — from beneficiary registration and attendance capture to direct bank transfers — while ensuring transparency, funds tracking and integration with World Bank–funded programme structures.

Impiger delivered a modular MIS (project management, operations funds request, procurement) plus a biometric attendance/verification module that operates online and offline on biometric-enabled tablets and integrates with the financial management and M&E systems. Built with AngularJS, Python, MariaDB and native Android, the solution enabled real-time reporting, streamlined procurement and payments, improved accountability, and helped officials implement the programme more effectively while allowing beneficiaries to track attendance and payments.
