Integrated Financial Management System for Uganda Wildlife Authority - Customer Case Study

Impiger Technologies partnered with the Competitiveness and Enterprise Development Project to deliver an Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) for Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA). UWA was struggling with fragmented manual and standalone computerized systems across finance, HR, procurement and inventory, causing delays in processing large volumes of financial data, poor budget monitoring, reconciliation issues, duplicated records and inadequate MIS for timely decision-making and compliance.

Impiger implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP across UWA—covering multicurrency finance, budgeting, payables/receivables, cash and bank reconciliation, fixed assets, HR/payroll, distribution (sales/purchasing/inventory), fleet and project/contract administration with revenue recognition. The result was a modern, web-based IFMIS rolled out nationwide that centralized operations, improved timely and accurate financial reporting, streamlined reconciliations and strengthened budget monitoring and compliance.
