Helping an Entertainment Fandom Platform Build a Comprehensive Application That Brings All Fans Under a Single Umbrella

A major entertainment fandom platform, supported by a leading media partner, wanted a single, central app to unite scattered fan communities from YouTube, Twitter, Tumblr and other channels. The client sought a cost-effective, auditable and scalable solution that would aggregate social content, encourage engagement through competitions, trivia and rewards, and provide analytics and easy fandom management.

Impiger built a vibrant iOS/Android app with social integrations, user posting (images/GIFs/video), AI image/text validation (Google Vision), Azure Search and cloud queuing for scalability, plus an admin portal powered by Google/Firebase analytics and configurable contests. The platform now serves ~1M users, manages ~30M posts, 250 contests and 100 trivia games, handled spikes of 50K active contest participants without upgrades and passed load tests for 4K active users, and has attracted partners such as iHeartRadio and artists like Marshmello.
