A 20+ year clinical-trial management company that recently merged with a larger organization engaged Impiger to migrate applications, content and Azure components from one Office 365/SharePoint tenant to another. The key challenges were that there is no straightforward tenant-to-tenant transfer for SharePoint apps and Azure resources, plus complex permission and ownership mapping—all while maintaining zero downtime and no data loss.

Impiger implemented a phased migration—planning and analysis, target system configuration, trial migration, production cutover and validation—using Sharegate, PowerShell scripts and Azure App Services to reproduce sites, apps, permissions and ownership. The weekend production migration completed with zero data loss or downtime, passed UAT, was rebranded to the parent organization, and users accessed the portal with new domain credentials the next business day.
