GESCI, the Global e-Schools and Communities Initiative, needed to replace a 10-year-old Excel-based total cost of ownership tool with a modern, web-based system that could better evaluate technology options for schools. The organization, which supports ICT in education across Africa, required a solution that could capture both capital and recurring costs and provide clearer insights for education planners and policy implementers.

Eleviant Tech designed and developed a web-based TCO tool with user management, institution profiling, budgeting, and reporting features. The solution automated key cost calculations and delivered dashboards for direct and indirect costs, asset metrics, labor costs, and energy usage, helping GESCI consolidate expense data more effectively.
