Top-ranking Architecture Firm Improves Collections With Its Third Elevia Financial Product

Slam, a top-ranking architecture firm with 190 employees across four offices, was struggling as days sales outstanding (DSO) steadily increased and staff had little time to pursue past-due invoices. To improve collections, Slam turned to EleVia Software’s A/R Management & Collections solution, building on its prior use of EleVia Electronic Invoicing and EleVia Payables Approval & Tracking integrated with Deltek Vision.

EleVia Software implemented automated communication schedules, email templates that attach invoices from Deltek Vision, and a collections dashboard showing DSO, Weighted Average Days Late (WADL) and Collection Effectiveness Index (CEI). The deployment cut the monthly invoice review process by a full week, eliminated spreadsheet tracking for about 9,800 annual invoices (saving roughly an hour a day), and delivered better visibility and improved collections performance for Slam.
