Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. was manually managing its entire invoicing process—sorting, printing (about 1.5 cases of paper/month) and chasing roughly 2,000 active invoices—leaving the Client Billing team spending more than half their time tracking overdue items and waiting on Project Managers. To modernize billing, Pape-Dawson engaged EleVia Software and adopted EleVia’s Electronic Invoicing (EI), which integrates with Deltek Vision.

EleVia Software implemented EI to automate approval tracking and send email reminders to PMs, so invoices are visible to all stakeholders and overdue items are logged automatically. The change eliminated the prior backlog of 200–300 outstanding post-completion projects, shortened time to invoice (improving cash flow), and allowed Pape-Dawson to grow about 30% over four years without expanding staff—while improving accuracy, saving billing time, and increasing PM accountability.
