Case Study: Tantalus Labs saves $1.3M and speeds batch release with Elevated Signals

A Elevated Signals Case Study

Preview of the Tantalus Labs Case Study

How we saved Tantalus Labs $1.3m, by removing the need for it to develop an in-house system

Tantalus Labs, a licensed cannabis producer in British Columbia, was managing cultivation and production with a mix of paper, seed-to-sale software, project tools, and Google Sheets. The lack of integration created siloed data, made batch reporting expensive to maintain in-house, and slowed record-keeping and audit preparation. Elevated Signals was brought in to replace that manual approach with a scalable electronic batch records system.

With Elevated Signals’ EBR platform, Tantalus Labs digitized and centralized production, quality, and inventory records, added controlled data entry and digital signatures, and enabled real-time access to searchable batch records through API integrations. The result was $1.3 million saved by avoiding an in-house build, at least 18 hours saved per employee each week, batch release time reduced to 1–2 hours instead of 2–3 days, and smoother Health Canada inspections thanks to faster access to records.
