Clikd, an innovative UK-based dating app start-up, needed to improve the cost per install from Google advertising. After setting up Universal App Campaigns with Google’s app specialists, they found their £4 CPI was not competitive compared with Facebook, so they brought in Elevate UK for PPC support.

Elevate UK improved performance by creatively split testing through multiple Universal App Campaigns targeting different but equivalent locations, allowing rapid testing without campaigns interfering with each other. Over 2–3 months, Elevate UK reduced CPI to £1.21, delivering a 233% performance increase and beating the original Facebook-like target of around £2 CPI.
