The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, a global automotive tire manufacturer, needed to reduce excessive supplier corrective action requests, streamline material receiving and quality processes, improve documentation compliance, and increase strategic agility across its worldwide operations. Elemica Quality was deployed across Goodyear’s global supplier base to manage quality data, track certifications, validate materials, and automate compliance and traceability workflows, including electronic certificates of analysis and supplier audits. As a result, Goodyear reduced supplier CARs by 41%, lowered CAR rates to less than 0.5% of raw material shipments, improved plant efficiency and supplier accountability, and achieved annual savings of $26 million across 80 plants.
