Energy Utility Company, a centralized service fleet operator, wanted to reduce costs and improve driver safety after managing its fleet in-house and outsourcing only select services. The changes delivered $435,000 in savings over three years ($260,000 in fuel and $175,000 in maintenance), a more versatile and ergonomic fleet, improved driver safety and satisfaction, and better identification of at‑risk drivers via weekly exception reports.
