Element Blue was engaged by a large healthcare providing company in Southeastern Texas to address the challenge of patient engagement. The customer sought to create a modern patient portal that would make critical tasks like accessing lab results and scheduling appointments much easier for its patients.

To solve this, the Element Blue team built the portal using the Sitecore Enterprise Experience Manager platform for content management and personalization, integrating it with the existing Cerner EMR system. They also implemented a Solr search platform to power the new physician and location finder tools. The solution from Element Blue was a tremendous success, leading to a 40% increase in user sessions and providing patients with a single, streamlined source for all their healthcare management needs.
