Prift, a personal finance startup, needed to design a simple and minimalist MVP for its platform that helps individuals manage long-term financial goals. Their challenge was to move beyond the shortcomings of existing solutions like spreadsheets and other apps, which were either inconvenient, focused only on short-term goals, or were too expensive. They hired the UI/UX design agency Eleken to create an accessible and clear product that would provide tailored financial advice and long-term forecasting.

Eleken implemented the solution by first conducting competitor analysis and using MoSCoW prioritization to define core features. They designed wireframes, performed A/B testing, and created a working prototype with features like personalized advice, savings efficiency evaluation, and debt management. Eleken also made key improvements, such as designing a flow to help users optimally distribute funds and ensuring the app complied with UK financial advice regulations. The result was a minimalist and effective platform that simplified complex financial planning for users.
