USGA brings golf history to life in a 9,000 sq ft experience with Electrosonic

The United States Golf Association (USGA) needed to create a new World Golf Hall of Fame experience in Pinehurst, North Carolina, that would engage a digital-first generation. Their challenge was to move beyond static exhibits and use technology to explain complex concepts like the science of golf and to celebrate the sport's legends in a compelling way. They partnered with vendor Electrosonic for its expertise in audiovisual design, system integration, and support services.

Electrosonic implemented a comprehensive AV solution including large-scale video walls, an immersive theater, 160 interactive lockers with displays and audio, and an interactive touch table. This technology brought over 3,000 artifacts to life and allowed visitors to explore the achievements of golf legends and test their own skills. The result is an engaging and inspiring experience that honors the sport's history and helps the USGA foster interest in golf among a wider audience, successfully memorializing golfers through immersive technology.
