One World Observatory delivers a 47-second immersive journey with Electrosonic

The customer, One World Observatory, sought to create a highly immersive and engaging visitor experience from the ground floor to the top of One World Trade Center. Their challenge was to build anticipation for the main spectacle, personalize the welcome for guests, and transform a simple elevator ride into a memorable journey, all while working within strict operational and security requirements. Electrosonic provided experiential technology and audiovisual solutions to meet this challenge.

Electrosonic implemented a multi-faceted solution including a Global Welcome Center that delivered personalized multilingual greetings and an immersive Sky Pod elevator ride featuring a virtual timelapse of New York's history. The solution also included projection-mapped theaters and interactive elements like the Sky Portal. The results were highly successful, with the observatory becoming a major tourist attraction and winning a prestigious Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement, demonstrating how Electrosonic's technology created lasting memories for visitors.
