A Electrosonic Case Study
The Natural History Museum faced the challenge of integrating informative technology into its Dinosaur Hall without distracting from the massive dinosaur exhibits. They partnered with vendor Electrosonic to design and install audiovisual and interactive systems that would enhance visitor learning and interpretation, requiring rugged touchscreens and concealed computers to handle heavy use.
Electrosonic's solution involved developing a series of small, high-quality displays and touchscreens built unobtrusively into walls and exhibit bases. This included interactive kiosks for examining bones and simulating dinosaur calls. The result was an award-winning hall that uses technology to add clarity and understanding to the relics, attracting large numbers of visitors and receiving an award for outstanding connections between design and content.
