Case Study: LKAB creates a welcoming visitor experience with Electrosonic video wall solutions

LKAB welcomes visitors with Electrosonic’s 21 x 12 ft videowall in its visitor center

The customer, LKAB, an international minerals group, wanted to create an informative and engaging welcome for visitors at its remote Scandinavian visitor center. Their challenge was to install a robust and easy-to-manage audiovisual system in a harsh environment that could present various types of high-resolution content. Electrosonic was brought in to design and integrate the AV solutions for a large presentation area and a boardroom.

Electrosonic implemented a large video wall comprised of nearly 200 micro tiles, supported by an image processor and an intuitive control system. The solution successfully met its goal of informing visitors in a unique and impressive way with high-impact presentations on LKAB's global operations. Electrosonic's expertise in hostile environments ensured the project was completed successfully, making the center a great starting point for tours of the adjacent mine.
