EQ Office transforms Willis Tower's 45,000 sq.ft Skydeck Experience with Electrosonic

EQ Office, the owner of the Willis Tower's Skydeck Chicago, sought to create a world-class visitor center that would inform, educate, and thrill guests. They faced the challenge of reimagining the attraction into an interactive, immersive environment featuring many different technologies, all within an aggressive schedule and under COVID restrictions. They engaged vendor Electrosonic for its expertise in complex AV system integration.

Electrosonic engineered and integrated complex LED, projection, and audio systems to bring the new experience to life. The solution included immersive exhibits like a fly-through architectural tour on a massive LED wall and a replica L train with virtual windows. As a result, the Skydeck Experience has become a must-see destination, listed as one of Tripadvisor’s Top Ten attractions in Chicago, successfully meeting the owner's vision of a venue that celebrates the city's heritage.
