Automation of new ledger accounts in Sage Business Cloud Accounting

Sage faced slow, error-prone onboarding into Sage Business Cloud Accounting (SBCA) because ledger and Chart of Accounts data lived in spreadsheets, scans and other systems and had to be entered manually, one account at a time. ElectroNeek Robotic Process Automation (RPA) was engaged to address the heavy manual work and variability of input formats.

ElectroNeek implemented RPA bots that log into SBCA, clean and deduplicate the Chart of Accounts, and iterate through Excel rows to populate and save account creation forms while a user simply launches and reviews the results. ElectroNeek’s solution delivered a 15–25x reduction in processing time, eliminated data-entry errors, sped onboarding and reduced barriers to switching to Sage’s cloud products; Sage has since named ElectroNeek its preferred RPA partner for further automation.
