Case Study: North Dakota State University unifies agricultural and extension resources with Electric Citizen’s Drupal website

North Dakota State University unifies 3 websites with Electric Citizen

Electric Citizen partnered with North Dakota State University (NDSU), which was facing challenges with its dated and difficult-to-manage websites for its Agriculture and Extension programs. The static HTML sites lacked a content management system, making updates cumbersome for editors, and were not mobile-responsive or compliant with accessibility standards.

Electric Citizen designed and developed a new, unified Drupal website for NDSU. The solution involved migrating content from the old static sites into the new CMS, improving the information architecture, and ensuring the design aligned with the university's existing branding. The result was a cohesive, accessible, and mobile-friendly site. Electric Citizen also provided training and documentation, and has continued to partner with NDSU on support and maintenance following the successful launch.
