City of Santa Barbara modernizes 4 sites with Electric Citizen

The City of Santa Barbara needed to migrate its dated website and multiple subsites from an unsupported CMS to a modern, accessible platform. They required a powerful system for non-technical editors to manage content across departments and sought an experienced partner, Electric Citizen, to guide them through this large-scale migration and redesign.

Electric Citizen executed a full audit and migrated thousands of pages of content to a new Drupal platform. They designed an accessible, component-based site and built out subsites for the library, parks, and airport. Since the 2022 launch, Electric Citizen has provided ongoing support, adding new subsites and site enhancements like real-time airport parking data, resulting in a unified and maintainable system for city services.
