The UK’s National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) faced a challenge with its traditional employee onboarding process, which lacked consistency and engagement across its sites. Seeking a more unified and effective digital solution to improve training completion and retention, NNL partnered with vendor Electric Circus to develop a bespoke digital onboarding platform.

Electric Circus created the custom-built NuStart platform, which fully digitalized the onboarding process and served as a centralized information hub. The solution led to remarkable results, including a world-class Net Promoter Score of 67, a security training completion rate increase to 99.5%, and a significant reduction in the overall attrition rate from 26% to 17%.
