Michigan State University boosts game-based learning engagement 2x with eLearning Brothers

Michigan State University Advancement faced the challenge of modernizing its training and onboarding process for a hybrid remote workforce. The university needed to move beyond traditional instructor-led methods to create a more engaging, interactive, and fully virtual experience for learning new business policies and a CRM system. To address this, MSU partnered with eLearning Brothers and utilized their products, The Training Arcade® and Arcades™.

eLearning Brothers' solution involved creating a gamified learning environment with microlearning games and daily missions. MSU developed 170 training games and 30 structured learning journeys, which resulted in significantly higher engagement. According to the results from eLearning Brothers' platform, over 70% of participants repeated a game-based journey, with some users completing journeys over 20 times. Engagement in the gamified journeys was twice as high as in the traditional LMS, proving the effectiveness of the solution for remote training.
