UTS:INSEARCH, the University of Technology Sydney’s pathway division, had outgrown its ageing, Flash‑heavy website and centralised publisher model. Over time the site became inconsistent in design, navigation and workflow, and the organisation needed a user‑friendly, standards‑driven CMS with strong out‑of‑the‑box functionality, flexibility for local editors and reliable vendor support.

INSEARCH selected the Elcom platform and launched a new public site, student extranet, staff intranet and multilingual international subsites. Using Elcom modules and a custom Developer API timetable, Google Maps, social features and document management, the project streamlined publishing, reduced admin costs, sped up campaign rollouts, improved support and collaboration, and delivered a scalable, content‑rich experience for students and staff.
