The Audit Office of New South Wales, which conducts financial and performance audits and compliance reviews for the government, needed a better way to inform and connect geographically dispersed audit staff working across multiple teams. Their challenge was to communicate quickly and efficiently while promoting collaboration and consistent access to policies, procedures and current information.
They selected Elcom to build a new intranet, “Alfie,” delivering a personalized, easy-to-manage platform with Active Directory single sign-on, an online Audit & Assurance manual, staff profiles and corporate directory, presence indicators, HP TRIM integration and discussion forums.
