Taking Shape is Australia and New Zealand’s leader in plus-size clothing, operating for over 28 years with more than 100 boutiques, 50+ concessions and a workforce of around 900 across three countries. The company struggled with excessive emails and attached documents—HR policies, store processes and promotions were buried in inconsistent local folders—causing version-control issues, missed communications and a need for a central, easy-to-use place to access up-to-date information and store-specific sales targets.

Taking Shape partnered with Elcom to deploy a flexible, self-managed CMS and intranet, using templates and Active Directory integration while leveraging internal staff for design and ownership. The intranet launched with immediate adoption: stores now use an automated graphic sales dashboard (updated three times daily), admin overhead has fallen, information access is faster and more reliable, and teams are more connected, motivated and efficient.
