Raine & Horne, one of Australia’s largest family-owned real estate groups with around 3,000 staff across franchises, faced poor internal communications: emails were ignored as spam and an outdated intranet made finding current marketing, training and compliance information difficult. The organisation needed a personalised, mobile-friendly platform that could reach every franchisee, support training and compliance tracking, and deliver content quickly.
Elcom built and launched “Scout,” a responsive intranet that integrates with core systems (rhCompass), delivers daily content and videos, uses gamified agent rankings and pop-up compliance messaging, and adds predictive search and social tools. The result was faster adoption, consistent branding across franchises, measurable training and compliance completion, higher agent engagement through competition, and an easier way for staff to find and share information.
