Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is a major Victorian health service serving over 90,000 people with 1,700 clinical and non-clinical staff across multiple sites. Their legacy SharePoint intranet was unsupported and outdated, so NHW sought a secure, accessible, and user-friendly central information hub that would support off-site access, link to external systems, protect confidential data, and improve staff navigation and communication.

Elcom delivered "Connect," a modern intranet with strong search, an "I want to" quick-action menu, quick links to external applications, and enhanced security (MFA and overlays) that tailors functionality for on-site versus off-site/mobile users. The new platform streamlined access to resources and workflows, enabled online forms and approvals, improved communications and staff engagement, aided onboarding, and provided analytics to better target content—earning positive feedback for its contemporary design and usability.
