Leichhardt Municipal Council - Customer Case Study

Leichhardt Council engaged Elcom to revamp a tired, hard-to-manage website that was increasingly accessed on mobile (about one-fifth of searches). The brief demanded a mobile-friendly, simple and consistent site with user-friendly administration, reduced duplicate admin work, event management with diary sync, and e-newsletter templates so teams could easily own and update their content.

Elcom and the council designed and built a responsive architecture, launched an initial mobile set of top pages and implemented modules for event management, email marketing and systems integration. The result is a clean, mobile-friendly site with faster content updates, automated event–diary sync, increased customer engagement, reduced administration time and a platform set up for ongoing evolution.
