Hyundai Motor Company Australia, a leading vehicle manufacturer with 144 dealerships and 29 service points nationwide, needed to consolidate platforms and improve content management. The brief was to replace the existing intranet, build an Auto-net extranet, and replace the corporate website with a CMS capable of managing HTML and Flash content while giving management options to centralize or decentralize publishing.

Elcom implemented elcomCMS and a suite of modules, delivering an Active Directory‑integrated intranet, a WCMS-backed corporate site with Flash integration and tracking, multi-site management for 144 dealer websites, secure dealer and owners portals, RSS syndication and Auto-net remote access. The solution improved information dissemination and productivity, reduced costs through a single consolidated platform, enabled Hyundai’s .NET team to extend functionality, increased customer satisfaction via personalization and post‑sales services, and provided a scalable foundation for mobile and social features.
