How we transformed the Shore website

Sydney Church of England Grammar School (Shore), one of Australia’s leading schools, engaged Elcom to modernise a website that no longer reflected the school’s identity. The previous site tried to serve every audience at once—prospective and current parents, staff and alumni—resulting in cluttered navigation and an overwhelming experience. Shore’s goals were clearer navigation for prospective parents and staff, simpler enrolment guidance, engaging virtual tours for distant families, and a timely relaunch to support executive recruitment.

Elcom simplified the site structure and moved internally focused content to appropriate channels, streamlined the enrolment pathway, and embedded videos and virtual campus tours. They also developed a Mandarin micro-site and revamped the careers section to better attract staff. The result is a modern, on-brand website that improves decision-making for prospective families and employees, enhances access for overseas and regional audiences, and has received positive stakeholder feedback.
