Cabrini is a private, not-for-profit Catholic health service operating across 12 locations with more than 4,500 staff, most of whom are time-poor clinical nurses. The organisation needed a fully redesigned intranet that was fast and intuitive for varied technical abilities, reflected Cabrini’s mission and culture, and let staff quickly find resources and return to patient care.

Working with Elcom, Cabrini launched "Cabinet" — a modular, scalable intranet built after extensive stakeholder workshops. The site delivers a clean homepage, quick links, dynamic content widgets, easy-to-use publishing and online forms, secure permissioned areas and a popular classifieds section. Since launch Cabinet has earned international awards, averages 131,000 page views per month, keeps content current, streamlines information capture and saves staff time.
