A Elcom Case Study
Asthma Australia, founded in 1962 in NSW, is a national charity focused on empowering people to manage asthma through information and resources. Faced with multiple regional branches, the organisation needed a digital transformation to deliver a consistent national brand and seamless customer experience while still allowing local branches to publish their own content. They also required mobile responsiveness, social tools for community interaction and a secure national staff intranet to improve cross‑branch communication and collaboration.
Asthma Australia selected the Elcom WCMS after a competitive process because it made publishing simple, offered modular “pay when you need it” growth options, and provided full-service local design, development, hosting and support. The platform has simplified content management across varying IT skill levels, delivered a consistent national and local experience (including mobile), enabled interactive community features and a collaborative staff portal, and produced operational efficiencies by consolidating services with a single vendor.
