Ascham School - Customer Case Study

Ascham is a non-selective day and boarding girls’ school that wanted to modernise its five-year-old intranet, the Ascham Hub. The original Hub was largely generic, not mobile-friendly, and offered limited personalised content for staff, students and parents; the school needed an intuitive dashboard, a central communications hub, and automation to reduce Corporate Services’ administrative load.

Working with Elcom, Ascham launched a phased rebuild of the Hub featuring a dashboard-led design, 150+ layouts, calendar events with iCal export, user preference controls, and integration with the Synergetic school management system so forms are pre-populated and updates trigger approval workflows. The result is a single, personalised platform with easier access to accurate information, reduced admin, more timely news and notifications, and significantly higher community engagement and positive user feedback.
