Ascham School is a non‑selective day and boarding girls’ school (founded 1886) known for a strong academic program, the Dalton Plan and extensive co‑curricular offerings. Its legacy in‑house website had become hard to maintain, cluttered with outdated and repetitive information, and the design and user experience no longer reflected the school’s strengths—so Ascham needed a modern, manageable site to better showcase its programs and culture.

After reviewing vendors Ascham chose elcomCMS and worked with design partner Scribble & Think and an internal project manager to deliver a sleek, scalable site. Key features—Embedded Articles, Dynamic Widgets, a mega‑menu, forms and local admin tools—allow content reuse, easier navigation and online enrolment requests; the community response has been positive and staff now confidently manage content without IT involvement, increasing engagement for enrolment.
