Anglican Care is a not-for-profit aged care provider operating since 1956 across the Hunter, Central Coast and Mid Coast regions, with 12 residential homes and a dispersed workforce including many staff without dedicated computers or Anglican Care email addresses. Communication relied on personal emails, manager-printed noticeboards and manual processes, leading to poor information flow, compliance risks and persistent survey feedback that communication was a major organisational issue.
Elcom delivered Archi, a role-customised intranet with calendars, tailored quicklinks, Active Directory integration, an acknowledgements module and taxonomy-driven document search, making policies, training and updates easily accessible. The intranet created a single, searchable hub for compliance and COVID-19 updates, improved training visibility, reduced silos between sites, increased engagement through social feeds and profiles, and streamlined access to critical documents for staff, assessors, board members and volunteers.
