Thomas Jefferson University Hospital boosts colonoscopy knowledge 19% with ELB Learning

Thomas Jefferson University Hospital faced the challenge of encouraging more adults to get colonoscopies, a highly effective but often avoided screening for colorectal cancer prevention. To address this, they partnered with vendor ELB Learning.

ELB Learning created an interactive immersive learning module using their product, CenarioVR, to guide patients through the exam process and make them more comfortable. The results were significant: 71% of surveyed patients agreed they had sufficient knowledge of the procedure, a 19% increase. Due to this success, ELB Learning's solution is being rolled out for a new mammogram module.
