Case Study: The United Way helps 1M+ students build SEL skills with ELB Learning

A ELB Learning Case Study

Preview of the The United Way Case Study

The United Way reaches 1 million students with ELB Learning

The United Way, in partnership with the National Football League (NFL), faced the challenge of guiding middle and high school students toward positive relationships and good decision-making, as bullying and a lack of formal character education were significant concerns. They partnered with vendor ELB Learning to create a custom digital course to address this critical need for social and emotional learning.

ELB Learning developed a graphic novel-style course consisting of six interactive modules. This solution taught students to analyze influences, manage emotions, resolve conflicts, and make sound decisions through relatable scenarios. The results were significant, with the course reaching over 1 million students across 12,000+ schools and providing a measurable, trackable blended learning resource that aligns with national education standards.
