They needed to create effective training to help police officers safely interact with individuals on the autism spectrum, moving beyond simple videos to a comprehensive web-based learning system. The project required an affordable and feature-rich learning management system (LMS) to host the content.

ELB Learning provided the solution through their Rockstar Learning Platform, which was selected for its functionality and cost-effectiveness. The Schwartz Consulting team used ELB Learning's Lectora authoring tool to build the course, which included realistic videos and integrated knowledge checks. The result was a highly effective training program praised by the Chico Police Department for bridging the gap between knowledge and practical strategies. The program is now being submitted to the state's Peace Officer’s Standards and Training system for statewide adoption.
