Helping educators teach and reinforce Social Emotional Learning concepts to second and third grade students

The Compassion Project, an initiative created with a leading digital course platform, needed to provide educators with tools to teach social emotional learning concepts like compassion, empathy, and mindfulness to second and third grade students. Their challenge was to develop a first-of-its-kind, classroom-ready digital program that could be integrated effortlessly into curricula to teach these vital skills.

ELB Learning developed a suite of web-based, gamified activities for The Compassion Project. Each module focused on a different skill and placed students in scenarios where they learned by making choices to resolve conflicts. The solution was highly successful, reaching over 400,700 students. Seventy-six percent of students showed a knowledge increase, and the vast majority of educators found it an easy fit for their curriculum.
