Fendi’s Immersive Learning Solutions for In-Store Employees

The Italian luxury fashion house Fendi faced a challenge in training its 1,800 in-store employees across 280 global stores on critical health, safety, and security protocols. With a high turnover rate and staff speaking 11 different languages, their existing in-person training was inefficient and costly. Fendi partnered with ELB Learning's partner Video Interact to create a standardized, scalable digital training solution.

ELB Learning's solution involved creating nine mobile microlearning modules, authored in Lectora Online, with one module on theft prevention built as an immersive experience using CenarioVR. This allowed employees to identify shoplifting risks in a 360-degree virtual store. The results were significant: the training reached 80% of the target audience within six months, reduced theft incidents by 55%, and delivered a 400% ROI. The program also won multiple industry awards.
