ETR launches accessible HIV training courses with ELB Learning

ETR, a non-profit organization committed to improving health outcomes, needed to build and update asynchronous eLearning courses for the CDC to train healthcare professionals on HIV. Their challenge was to quickly develop these 508-compliant courses using an authoring tool and host them on the federal CDCTrain platform, requiring a responsive partner with specific expertise. They partnered with ELB Learning to address these requirements.

ELB Learning used the Lectora authoring tool to build new interactive courses and update older ones for ETR. The solution included translating courses into Spanish and incorporating interactivities like knowledge checks and branching scenarios. The first completed course, "Addressing Social Determinants of Health for HIV Prevention and Care," was successfully delivered and hosted on the CDC Train platform, with ELB Learning continuing to develop more courses for the HIV workforce.
