The American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST) sought to raise awareness and understanding of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), including its pathophysiology, risk factors, and the role of vaccines. To address rising RSV rates, CHEST partnered with vendor ELB Learning to create an interactive training solution for clinicians.

ELB Learning developed "Unveiling RSV," a custom gamified learning experience designed as a classic mystery "whodunit." The point-and-click adventure game immersed players in a storyline where they had to identify vulnerable parties, uncover transmission modes, and create a vaccine. The solution led to positive survey responses, high participation rates, and affirming qualitative feedback, validating its effectiveness for CHEST's audience.
