Gypsum Management and Supply (GMS), the North American leader in gypsum wallboard and specialty building materials, faced difficulty efficiently managing payment processing and reporting across more than 250 distribution centers and multiple subsidiaries. To streamline the customer payment experience, GMS worked with Elavon, using solutions such as terminals, the Converge online payment gateway and Payments Core 365 Enhanced.

Elavon implemented point-of-sale, mobile and eCommerce acceptance with Converge and Payments Core 365 Enhanced to reconcile transactions against DDA accounts and drill down to four record types (adjustments, billings, chargebacks and deposits). The Elavon solution delivered detailed, location-level transactional and customer reporting, expedited equipment delivery, and more efficient reconciliation and payment acceptance across GMS’s network.
