Cisco needed a single, reliable way to track and optimize its sprawling IT and network infrastructure — millions of contracts, billions of assets, and countless licenses, warranties, customers and partners. Without full visibility into what customers own and use, the company faced wasted spending, compliance risks, and operational gaps that made renewals and negotiations difficult.

Cisco built My Cisco Entitlements (MCE) on the Elastic Stack, using Elasticsearch for a high-performance search index and Logstash to ingest up to 10,000 documents/second and tens of millions of change events per day. The platform gives secure, end-to-end transparency across ~1.5 million service contracts and 2 billion assets, is used by ~15,000 partners and internal users, and has reduced risk, improved license optimization, and streamlined asset management and negotiations.
