State Agency strengthens IT resilience with Elastic

State Agency needed to modernize its IT environment when the pandemic forced a rapid shift to remote work, creating new demands for resilience, visibility, and digital service delivery. To address these challenges, the agency turned to Elastic, using Elastic Observability to consolidate monitoring across systems and applications and gain a “single pane of glass” view of operations and cybersecurity data.

With Elastic, State Agency deployed observability on AWS, added dashboards and automation, and worked with Elastic Consulting to design a more proactive monitoring strategy. The results included end-to-end visibility, better incident detection, and major efficiency gains: monthly financial spending analysis was reduced from more than a week to a single day, saving about a week of finance time each month, and the agency reported an 80% improvement in efficiency through automation.
