Randstad Netherlands, a leading HR services provider, needed a scalable way to protect millions of candidate and customer records across a hybrid, multi-cloud environment from cyberattacks. The company also wanted faster investigation and response times for its small security operations team, using Elastic Security and related Elastic observability tools.

Elastic implemented a central security and observability platform that ingests data from many sources, supports anomaly detection and threat hunting, and integrates with ServiceNow for incident handling. The results include faster alert resolution, higher team productivity, and the ability to handle 73 million events per hour, with nearly 400 out-of-the-box detections and 250 custom detections helping Randstad Netherlands detect and respond to threats in real time.
