Case Study: WePay improves customer experience and compliance with Elastic

A Elastic Case Study

Preview of the WePay Case Study

Payments innovator uses Elastic Observability to cut issue detection time, improving application performance for customers and accelerating new products

WePay, a JPMorgan Chase-owned payments innovator, needed a better way to manage observability and compliance across hundreds of services and thousands of containers on Google Cloud. Its prior logging tools were unreliable, fragmented across vendors, and made it hard to quickly detect issues, improve performance, and retain data in line with financial regulations. Elastic helped WePay consolidate logging, metrics, and trace data with Elastic Observability.

Elastic implemented Elastic Observability as a single logging and analytics platform across WePay’s development through production environments, with support from Elastic Professional Services. The result was a 90% reduction in the time needed to identify customer impact during incidents, faster feature delivery, and easier compliance workflows by keeping recent logs in Elastic and moving older data to Google Cloud. Elastic also helped improve dashboard visibility for support teams and strengthened security and audit readiness.
